Imperfectly Perfect

A heartfelt poem to my husband, celebrating his love that mended my broken pieces.

You saw the cracks, the chips, the stains,
A broken puzzle, scattered pains.
But with your love, a magic art,
You mended pieces, healed my heart.

You kissed my flaws, so deep and wide,
Turned shadows into morning’s tide.
Your touch, a gentle, warming breeze,
Dispelling darkness, setting me free.

You heard the whispers, doubts, and fears,
Dried up the pathways of my tears.
With courage, you replaced my fright,
And filled my world with hope and light.

You found me broken, lost, alone,
A shattered spirit, heart turned stone.
But with your love, a steady flame,
You made me whole, and called my name.

You saw the beauty in my strife,
Gave purpose, meaning to my life.
With tender care, you’ve shown the way,
To find my strength, come what may.

So grateful am I, for your grace,
To look beyond my troubled face.
You kissed my flaws, and made them shine,
A masterpiece, truly divine.
