Sometimes, people come into our lives like surprise guests. They might not stay forever, but they teach us important things that change us in big ways. It might not be the happily ever after we hoped for, and maybe there are even some “Pasensya ka na (I’m sorry)” hanging around.
But even though they are not meant to be with us in all the phases of our lives, we’re different because of them. They showed us how strong we can be, even after a heartbreak. They opened our eyes to new kinds of love, even if it wasn’t meant to last.
So, to those special people, thank you! Thanks for the lessons, for helping me grow, and for giving me the courage to keep looking for happiness.
